ArtzVenture is a boutique consultancy specializing in cultural communications. We offer a perspective that is truly for and of the culture. Our history of working primarily with Black artists and cultural institutions provides us with an invaluable framework necessary for future forward initiatives.
Established in 2015 by PennyMaria Jackson, our agency exists to assist clients as they enhance their digital presence, build relationships with current and potential audiences, and strengthen community relationships as they navigate an arts scene that is becoming more dynamic, all through a lens that is specifically attuned to today’s diversity and inclusivity ideals. |

About our Founder and CEO
Who envisioned ArtzVenture?
Utilizing the power of the arts, PennyMaria is dedicated to bridging the gap between cultures. |
PennyMaria Jackson is a dedicated arts professional, advocate and enthusiast with more than 15 years of arts management experience. She has worked with renowned arts companies, organizations, and events including Steppenwolf Theatre Company, The Apollo Theater, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Women of Color in the Arts, Association of Performing Arts (APAP), Tony Awards Gala, and various fundraisers and theatrical opening nights. Her marketing campaigns have promoted performances and artistic events featuring Jason Moran, Ronald K. Brown, Ta-Nehisi Coates, and Oprah Winfrey. Most recently, she has supported plays by artists such as James Ijames, Vichet Chum, Rajiv Joseph, Donnetta Lavinia Grays, Martyna Majok, and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins.
PennyMaria has managed projects with funders including the Wallace and J. L. Greene foundations, and partnerships with corporations ranging from Coca-Cola to Citi Bank, and Spotify to HBO, among others. Her Harlem community work has supported affordable tickets for locals and secured funds for distribution to artists and arts companies being negatively impacted by gentrification/urban renewal. Her passion for the arts was nurtured in Miami, Florida at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center and has flourished for more than 25 years. Learn more about PennyMaria's experience. |
